At Wellspring Camp La Jolla, we believe that the best way to help you commit to an active lifestyle is to show you how much FUN it can be. We want you to try as many new activities, sports, and games as possible during your time with us. We also have an extensive schedule of Evening Programs and Field Trips planned. For more information, click here.

Whether it’s enjoying an invigorating morning walk along beach, trying a yoga class for the first time, boogie boarding with friends, learning to surf, or mountain biking through beautiful local parks, you are sure to find activities that you will love and continue with long after camp ends.

And if you’re worried that you’re too out of shape or inexperienced to join the fun, rest assured that our counselors will help you every step of the way. The supportive environment fostered at Wellspring Camp La Jolla is refreshing to campers who are used to feeling self-conscious or being “picked on” during group activities at school or other camps. At Wellspring, campers are all in this together and counselors are specially trained to help you discover your hidden skills and abilities, even if you haven’t been active in a while.

The goal for each day is to log at least 10,000 steps on your pedometer, although many campers achieve 20,000+ steps each day. You will explore such a variety of activities and amazing places that the steps happen naturally. Here is a sample of the activity choices available to you at Wellspring Camp La Jolla:

We understand that the best way to build confidence - a key factor in successful long-term weight control - is to stretch your comfort zone and succeed, not burst your comfort zone and fail. So we set you up to succeed by teaching you new skills that help make long-term weight control FUN.
